Summer Cleanup Program for Not-for-profit Organizations
The Kingsway District Association is providing a chance for not-for-profit to fundraise and be a part of our summer cleanup program.
The KDA is now excepting applications from not-for-profit groups or organizations who would like to earn up to $2000 for their respective organization or group in exchange for litter pick up around our district.
This is a great way to show your civic pride, keep Edmonton clean, and fundraise!
We have 5 areas available for cleaning.
- Kingsway/ Princess Elizabeth Avenue Area\
- McDonalds Area (106 St/Kingsway)
- 7-11/ Esso Area (101 St/Kingsway)
- Royal Alex Place/Royal Alex Plaza Area
- Kingsway Mews Area
Organizations will commit to:
- Total of 4 hours, 1 hour per month from May to August, 2022
- Provide four to six people for each cleanup time
- Report the number of bags or trash collected
- Compensation of $500.00 per cleanup for total of $2000.00 to be paid to organization
Safety Requirements:
- Participants younger than age 16 ,must be accompanied by an adult
- Volunteers under age of 18 participating without a parent/guardian must sign a waiver
- Participants must sign a waiver before cleanup
- Safety Training will be provided
- All clean up supplies and grabbers will be provided
